K.EDDIE MEHRFAR

Chief Operating Officer

Eddie Mehrfar has been in real estate and construction management industry since 1991. He started at Bechtel corporation as a senior engineer and became manager of automation on various national and international projects, including planning, design and construction of domestic power plants, Italian Power corporation Enel and Disney-MGM Studios in Paris. Eddie has a strong background in computer technology and is a strong proponent of the application of technology in all aspects of real estate transactions and project management.

His professional career spans 23 years at U.S. corporations and government agencies, including NASA, PUCO, LA County, Bechtel, EDS, MGM, Sony, Columbia, Disney, MCI and Xerox.

At Karas Corporation Eddie and the team of professionals are responsible for the on time, on budget, delivery of the completed development project.

On scientific side, Eddie was elected as an associate member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society since 1986. He is an MCSE and holds the California General Building Contractor license, California Real Estate Broker License and Primavera Construction Management Certificate. Eddie attended MBA program and received his Master and Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Akron, Ohio.
